The MacMaster Beach Progress Assocation was started in xxxx, to give the community a voice at Council and State and Federal governments.

It is a not-for-profit incorporated Assocation, registered under the Associations Incorporation Act of NSW.

Our Constitution

Our Constitution was reviewed during 2024, to comply with the requirements of the Act and to meet the current views of the membership.

Here are the OBJECTS of the Association

Our Objects

  1. To protect, preserve and enhance the District’s landscape and natural resources, its character and amenity, for the benefit of present and future landholders, resident and visitors.
  2. Protect and preserve the low rise and non-commercial features of the MacMasters Beach area.
  3. Foster community care and connection in the area.
  4. Promote awareness of living in harmony with the native wildlife and protect their habitat.
  5. To provide means where members may come together to express views and discuss issues pertaining to MacMasters Beach and District.
  6. To express the views of its members to local and state governments and other authorities and to carry out their lawful wishes as far as possible, co-operating where possible with local and state governments and other authorities
  7. To support, co-operate and/or affiliate with other bodies or associations with similar objects for the more effective furtherance of these and similar objects

Meetings

The Association conducts Special General Meetings every two months.

Anyone may attend the meetings, but only current financial members may vote on any resolutions.
